The EU and UNDP are announcing the 2nd call for proposals to support a concept of 'Smart Villages' in Georgia

The European Union (EU) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) are announcing the 2nd Call for Proposals for Development of “Smart Villages” in Georgia.

Responding to the pandemic recovery needs in rural areas, the Call for Proposals focuses on practical, innovative solutions that can unlock new opportunities in job and income creation while promoting active engagement of socially and economically disadvantaged groups.

Projects selected for financial support should be implemented within administrative boundaries of at least one village in the municipalities of Keda, Khulo, Borjomi, Akhalkalaki, Tetritskaro, Lagodekhi, Dedoplistskaro and/or Kazbegi.

Who can apply: LEADER/CLLD (preference given) and non-LEADER/CLLD entities are invited to apply.
