EU and UNDP organize a training programme for the packaging cluster companies

The European Union (EU) and UNDP, in partnership with PMAG Packaging Cluster, are inviting packaging companies to take part in a workshop on packaging technology and circular economyThe four-day online training will be delivered by the World Packaging Organization (WPO).

The training will take place on 5-8 October 2021 via the Zoom platform.

Training programme:

  • Packaging materials – Corrugated Packaging
  • Packaging materials – Plastics (Rigid and Flexibles)

6 October (10:00-13:00):

7 October  (10:00-13:00):

  • General Packaging Principles
  • Circular Economy and Environmental Sustainability
  • Food Safety

  • Modern Packaging
  • Tamper-evident Packaging
  • Global Packaging Trends and Statistics
  • The future of Packaging

The initiative is part of a broader EU-funded programme “The Innovative Action for Private Sector Competitiveness in Georgia” implemented by the UN agencies in cooperation with private companies and business associations.
