The document represents a Strategic Development Plan 2020-2025 of the Mediators' Association of Georgia and envisages five main directions:

• Development of mediator’s profession
• Mediators’ Education
• Facilitation of the Court Mediation
• Fostering the mediation environment
• Organization development

The Strategy is complemented with the description of Mediators’ Certification Programme, which sets the 3-step process for becoming a mediator:

• At least 60-hour mediator skills training
• Skills assessment
• Observations to the real mediation

The Programme also envisages the possibility of obtaining an accreditation for conducting the training.

The documents were prepared by the Mediators Association of Georgia with the assistance from the European Union and UNDP.
