UN Day 2013
TBILISI. 23 October 2013 – The United Nations in Georgia commemorates the United Nations Day on October 24 through a series of events to draw public attention to some key areas of UN’s work.
To mark the Day, the UN Office will organize a series of meetings and discussions on the rights of persons with disabilities and the needs of national minority; information sessions and conferences for youth; model UN sessions for students to stir discussion on MDGs, peace and development; and a summary discussion with the Government, academia, civil society and students about the results of the global UN survey MY World in Georgia. Some of the events include:
