The Report assesses the progress in implementing Millennium Development Goals in Georgia and follows the previous baseline report issued in June 2004.

The Report represents a "stocktaking” exercise in preparation for the MDG+5 World Summit to be held in New York, September 2005. The report covers the period of 2004 and the first half of 2005.

The report was prepared in cooperation between the Georgian Government and non-governmental organizations and with the assistance of the United Nations Country Team in Georgia.
