This Environment and Social Assessment Report has been prepared in support of a project proposal for “Scaling-up Multi-Hazard Early Warning System and the Use of Climate Information in Georgia” by the Government of Georgia to the Green Climate Fund (GCF). The project will address adaptation to climate change, disaster risk management and improved use of climate information in Georgia and is aimed at reducing vulnerability of Georgian communities to climate change induced natural hazards and risks.
