The publication is a baseline assessment with a primary objective to collect the missing scientific, tech­nical and statistical data necessary to inform and enrich existing capaci­ties, while identifying the current gaps, challenges and setup for disaster risk reduction/management (DRR/DRM) and climate change adaptation (CCA) in the country, both on national and local levels, with comprehen­sive analytical information.

The publication was prepared by the Georgia’s Environmental Outlook (GEO) with the support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
