Social and Economic Issues in the Georgian Media. 2011

This report includes key finding of the media monitoring exercise which went on from June through December and examined coverage of social and economic issues by the Georgian television and printed press.
The monitoring was implemented by seven Georgian non-governmental organizations selected for their institutional capacities and motivation to become national experts in the area of media research. All participants went through a comprehensive professional training in media monitoring techniques from the Slovak agency Memo98.
