The collection of publications includes “Handbook on Performance Appraisal of Civil Servants”, “Guide on Self-Evaluation, Dialogue and Professioanl Development of Civil Servants” as well as research paper on “Perception of Civil Servants on Performance Appraisal”.
The purpose of the publications is to provide methodological support to line managers (appraisers) and civil servants subject to appraisal throughout the civil servants’ appraisal process.
The topics of the publications vary from the purpose and value of the appraisal, appraisal methods, procedures and deadlines, the rights and obligations of parties to the principle of scoring, rule of appeal and development plan.
The publications are developed with assistance from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and UK aid from the UK Government in cooperation with the Civil Service Bureau.
