The Gender Impact Analysis (GIA) is a set of indicators used to foresee how specific policies and laws may affect men and women, and how these policies can be used to promote gender equality. The Drug Policy Reform and Amendments to the Labour Code of Georgia are the first two pieces of legislation to undergo the Gender Impact Analysis in Georgia.

This pilot imitative was implemented in 2017, by the Gender Equality Council of the Parliament of Georgia, with support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), National Democratic Institute (NDI), and Good Governance Initiative/USAID.
