Civil Society Organisations for Public Administration Reform (PAR)

“Civil Society Organizations for Public Administration Reform (PAR)” showcases 16 initiatives of 12 Georgian CSOs in support of the ongoing Public Administration Reform in Georgia.

These distinct initiatives explore topics and propose solutions around the pressing issues related to Public Administration Reform. The initiatives range from working on improving the day-care standards for persons with disabilities to exploring the potential benefits of blockchain technologies for public sector in Georgia.

The selected institutions include non-governmental organizations, think tanks, academic and research centres from Tbilisi and the regions of Georgia – the Institute for Development of  Freedom of Information (IDFI), “Iare Pekhit” (Walk), “Child, Family, Society”, Civic Development Agency (CiDA), Innovations and  Reforms Centre (IRC), Georgian Institute of Public Administration (GIPA), Ozurgeti Young Scientists’ Club, New Vision University, BTKK Policy Research Group, Centre of Studies of Social Practice (CSSP), Disability Research Centre (DRC) at Tbilisi State University, and Gori Information Centre.

The civil society initiatives were selected as part of the CSO grants contest carried out by UNDP Georgia within the framework of its project “Supporting Public Administration Reform in Georgia” funded by UK aid from the UK Government.
